The Wusthof 7294 cutting board is a very heavy duty, luxury cutting board with a stainless steel finish. The cutting board can easily be picked up by the cut out handles.
The beech wood has been heat treated and rubbed with oil to maintain the dark color. Also, this causes the board to be relatively insensitive to stretching and shrinkage.
