Using only the highest quality yuzu from Japan, Valrhona's Yuzu Inspiration brings the unique flavour of yuzu to new pastry preparations. Its naturally sweet, tangy flavour with a hint of bitterness blends perfectly with other ingredients, bringing out their flavours.
This treasured fruit, Yuzu, is an icon from Japan with a distinct flavour and character like no other ingredient. Yuzu bursts onto the palate with a unique citrusy flavour. We use only the highest quality yuzu farmed in tiny smallholdings found halfway up mountains in Southeast Japan’s rural Kochi region. The yuzu grows in very small quantities but with outstanding flavour thanks to the citrus-friendly terroir and climate.

At above 26°C, cocoa butter in chocolate products may start melting, and recrystallize as white streaks or marks on the chocolate's surface. This phenomenon is called 'fat bloom'. While it may not have the perfect appearance, bloomed chocolates are safe to eat and use in recipes.
During summer months when the temperature is relatively warm, we advise adding cold packaging to your shipment in order to minimize the risk of melting. While we are careful and diligent in maintaining the temperature of your package, we unfortunately cannot guarantee the products in the cold packaging will not be affected by unusually warm weather and irregular transit time.
